Hello lovelies! Apologies for falling behind on the tour front...after Jersey I came straight to Europe and had to switch my mindset right away lol. I'm finally getting a (short) chance to update my blogs, though, so here's the latest scoop in the world of Bon Jovi:
The band played the Royal Beach Festival in Scheveningen, Netherlands on Saturday, June 5 2010. And yes, I am in the Netherlands right now...and no, I wasn't at the show. I am making the biggest pout/mad face you could possibly imagine right now, but it wasn't my doing...a certain boyfriend of mine (whom I met through the Bon Jovi FAN CLUB!) didn't WANT TO GO. Yeah. How's that for ironic? lol. But he was cool enough to take me to the hotel in Amsterdam where they always stay when they play in the Netherlands, and we waited a bit for them to show up...which they never did. Ah well. Reports were that the show was fantastic, and there were so many Bon Jovi fans on the trains home that night that I had to shut my eyes, switch my iPod on, and pretend nothing happened. ;)
The setlist was as follows:
Last Man Standing
We Weren't Born to Follow
You Give Love a Bad Name
Born To Be My Baby
Lost Highway
Raise Your Hands
We Got It Going On
When We Were Beautiful
In These Arms (David sang with Jon on this one!)
