Oh Jon, I love you dearly, but you look constipated here. I can only imagine how frustrating it is to be followed by paparazzi, but you aren't doing yourself any further favors! LOL

Open casting call for "New Year's Eve"

Want to try your hand at background acting? I've dabbled in it a bit here in LA (Burbank/Hollywood), but only worked with the Jonas Brothers. Haha. And I'd so be there next Monday, but this movie set is in NYC.

So if you're interested and have some time, maybe this is something for you. Don't get too excited about seeing Jon or other celebs, though. I would almost bet Jon won't even be on set yet, and I've learned from experience that the main stars are hardly ever at these open casting calls. And even if they are, they're virtually inaccessible. So please, don't head over there thinking you'll land autographs and pics.

Grant Wilfley Casting is holding an open call for background work for the following:

* for the 2nd season of the Golden Globe-winning HBO series Boardwalk Empire, seeking Irish, German, Polish/Eastern European, Italian, Chinese and African American men and women of all ages. The series is set in the 1920s. All men must be willing to get their hair cut short. Women must have natural-looking hair, at least shoulder-length. Must be willing to work around smoke.
* for the feature film NEW YEAR’S EVE, directed by Garry Marshall, seeking New Yorkers of all types (from working class to wealthy) for various scenes.

An open casting call will be held on Monday, Feb. 7 from 10a-12:30p for SAG and 2-4:30p for NONSAG at Metropolitan Pavilion, 110 West 19 St, NY, NY 10011. No experience necessary. Be prepared to have a digital photo taken. All work as background is paid. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. New mobile app now available for Blackberry and Android

As of last week, I believe this application was only available for the iPhone. I just saw today that it is now available for free download (yes, you saw the word FREE associated with Bon Jovi!) on Blackberry and Android phones, too!

I have already installed it on my Blackberry Curve, and I'll check it out/play with it tonight. Who else has installed it, and what do you think? It only has a star and a half rating out of 5, which is a very bad sign. Perhaps that's why it's free...

New tour dates

Thanks to those who emailed me about this. I've been kind of disconnected from technology for a few days, dealing with personal/emotional issues.

These dates were apparently leaked on the main website, included with the Valentine's Day contest.

Once again, no California or west coast. Not sure what their beef with us is...!
