Those of us on Twitter have to shorten the song names for character count limits, and it's a joke how only Bon Jovi fans would be able to understand that modge-podge of initials and abbreviations, LOL.

Seriously, though, who the hell else knows what 'YGLABN' stands for? I bet you, reading this, do. ;)

Greetings From Vegas

Greetings from fabulous Las Vegas!

(We're staying at the Luxor!!

<---------------------------)

While Bjorn and I are romping the Strip, sipping cocktails and soaking in the sights, Bon Jovi has been enjoying a bit of a vacation as well. Even though I brought my laptop and we have free internet access (a first in our many travels!), there hasn't been too terribly much to report on the Jovi front.

However, the band just Tweeted and Facebooked (yes, those are new verbs in this generation) that they are back on the road and ready to hit Minneapolis next, so the set lists, pictures, and news should resume their steady stream I imagine.

If you missed my last two posts, be sure to check them out: the band is doing another live stream from Dallas, TX this Sunday...and they have announced three new summer tour dates (including a 4th Giants/New Meadowlands.)

Which brings me to this week's poll - because I have the best parents and boyfriend EVER, I will be realizing my long-time dream and traveling to New York next month to see the legendary Giants performances. I am BEYOND ecstatic. I'm still trying desperately to get my hands on tickets, but until then, I was curious who is going to which shows. I guess the anonymity factor in a poll doesn't help me know WHO is going when, but it's cool to know which of the nights are the most anticipated.

I for one am trying for the 27th and 29th of May, because I just kind of know from years of being a Jovi fan that the opening night will be standard vanilla. And I'm traveling cross-country for NON-vanilla, thank you very much. ;)

So let me know when you're going. I cannot WAIT to meet some of you!

Oh, and the contest for the Jovi goody pack has ended, so when I get home I will draw the winner at random and announce it this Sunday.

Have a great rest of your week my friends!

Live stream from Dallas this Sunday!

YAY! The band will be doing another live stream for those of us not attending the Dallas, TX show this coming Sunday.

In other words, millions of us. lol

From www.bonjovi.com:

Bon Jovi will open the digital doors to their Dallas performance on Sunday, April 11th starting at 5 pm PDT/6 pm MDT/7 pm CT/8 pm EDT.

Fans worldwide can tune in and rock out along with the group and their sold-out Texas audience, courtesy of a webcast powered by Ustream, the leader in live video. Along with four, live, streaming songs, this free concert webcast will also feature a special pre-taped concert reel that includes exciting footage of Kid Rock joining Bon Jovi on stage in Detroit, plus numerous Bon Jovi TV episodes.

To watch the band rock the American Airlines Center click http://ustream.tv/BonJovi, www.BonJovi.com, or the Bon Jovi Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BonJovi.

For those of you who watched the stream from Seattle in February, I think you'll join in my excitement for this one. :) Don't forget to tune in!!

New tour dates announced

Hey all -- the band is enjoying a nice vacation from touring for awhile, and I am enjoying spring break and celebrating my birthday with my boyfriend in Las Vegas. But as the devoted follower I am, I still manage to stay on top of what's going on in Jovi-land. ;)

Thank you to Hath for this alert -- Bon Jovi has added 3 shows to their summer tour lineup (one being the New Meadowlands show I told you all about a few days ago via Twitter and Facebook). Rumor has it that Kid Rock will open all shows; presale starts this Friday, April 9 and the general sale is Saturday, April 10.

Good luck to all those wanting to go!
